Scarecrows Are Coming

Thanks to everyone for picking up your scarecrows and thanks to Michelle, Enrique and Reagan for helping to deliver those who could not pick up.  If you would have not gotten a scarecrow and would like to participate or need another one, I have a few left.

Let’s make 2020 the BEST SCARECROW YEAR EVER

This year as a bonus, everyone will get individual posts highlighting your scarecrow as well as information about your business or the owners.

Round 2 Applications

Applications for round two of the Edmond Small Business Microgrant Program will be accepted from Wednesday, August 26 to Wednesday, September 9.

The program is designed to offer a lifeline to local small businesses, which will result in greater continuity of operations and will sustain viability through the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will provide a local grant benefit to businesses to bridge their limited cash reserves as they proactively take steps to amass financing and capital from other sources.

To be eligible, applicants must be a for-profit corporation or business registered with the Oklahoma Secretary of State; have a physical brick and mortar location in the city limits of Edmond, OK, with the majority of revenue normally coming from in-person transactions; have been established before January 1, 2020; and have fewer than 50 full-time equivalent employees. Priority will be given to minority applicants. Online businesses are not eligible. This program is administered by the Edmond Economic Development Authority.
